About the University

Californis State University Northridge abbreviated as CSUN was established in 1952. CSUN was ranked amongst the top 25 accredited university programs nationwide. The Oviatt Library provides educational, cultural, and information services and resources to the students and faculty with physical collection of 1.3 volumes of books, periodicals, and journals. The library also has the larget collection of materials from the Kinsey Institute. It has an enrollment of nearly 36,000 undergraduate, and graduate students. The university has majors in 61 undergraduate degree programs, and 42 graduate degree programs. The top three most popular academic program in the university are : Business/Marketing, Social Sciences, and Psychology. It has nine colleges, which are :

Health insurance is required of all full-time degree, resident, and international students with F1 and J1 visas.

Students are required to purchase Health Insurance. Northridge requires students to take their Relation Insurance Health Plan. This policy meets the Health Insurance Requirements as mandated by the California State University Chancellor’s office.

Cost: $1,000.00 per semester

In order to be accepted, students must prove financial resources of $10,000.00 per semester.
