As a MICEFA student you have access to our great excursions provided throughout the semester! A listing and description of the upcoming excursions are listed below. If one of the excursions interests you, you can sign up directly via the website using the sign-up form at the bottom of this page! Payments can also be made directly via our website, see payment options below.
Parc Asterix

You may have heard of Disneyland Paris, but if you like amusement parks, you have to experience Parc Asterix !
Themed after the cult classic French comic book character, Astérix, this amusement park is a must visit if you like roller coasters. Parc Astérix is the second most visited theme park in France and known for having the largest number of roller coasters of any park in France! The park rides’ in the visual style of the Astérix comic books, and using characters, and cultural references from the world of Astérix.
A ticket for one-day entry to the Parc Astérix and the shuttle are included.
Please plan to bring your lunch or money to purchase food at the amusement park.

Château de Chenonceau & Wine Tasting

Join us for a visit to the stunning Château de Chenonceau, one of the Loire Valley’s most iconic landmarks, known for its unique French Renaissance architecture and rich history shaped by influential women such as Diane de Poitiers.
After the château visit, we’ll head to the Plou & Fils vineyard, a family-owned estate founded in 1508. You’ll tour the wine cellars and bottling facilities, enjoy a tasting of regional wines, and have the chance to purchase bottles on site.

11:00 am: Arrive at Château de Chambord : Free time to visit and eat lunch
2:30 pm: Bus leaves Chambord
4:30 pm: Arrive at Vignerons Plou & Fils for tour and tasting
5:00 pm: Bus leaves for Paris
7:00-7:30 pm: Estimated arrival back in Paris

Giverny – Monet’s Garden

Claude Monet’s Garden at Giverny is a living masterpiece where nature and art blend seamlessly into one of the most enchanting experiences in France. Designed by Claude Monet himself, the garden bursts with vibrant seasonal blooms, winding paths, and the iconic Japanese bridge draped in wisteria that inspired his famous water lily paintings.
Visitors are immersed in a dreamlike palette of colors, reflections, and fragrances, stepping directly into the world of Impressionism. Just a short journey from Paris, this timeless sanctuary offers an unforgettable escape into beauty, creativity, and tranquility.
