Paris Medical Exchange Program

For over 30 years, the MICEFA Medical Program has promoted the exchange of medical students with the objective of enabling students to experience a comparative approach to medical practices. We allow students to participate in a medical exchange abroad for one to two months in one of our partner university hospitals in almost all specializations (in both clinical and research electives). This reciprocal exchange program is strictly limited to medical students enrolled in partnering medical schools in the United States and France.
Program Details
To apply for the MICEFA Medical Program, you must…
be a 3rd and 4th year medical student at a partnering American university
have approval from your home institution
be in good academic standing
have taken at least 4 semester of college-level French, or an equivalent proficiency (B2 level)

Application Process
Nomination by your University’s International Office. All students must apply through their international or study abroad office, no direct applications are accepted. Online interview with MICEFA Staff. During this interview you will be able to talk about university placement, course choices, housing, visas and all the other details of your program!
