Program Costs and Options

Basic Program Fees (billed directly to the student or through the Study Abroad Office) €2950*
This fee includes the basic housing option (Cité Université), local transportation pass (Navigo), Cultural Activities, French Language Course (4 credits) at the Institut Catholique de Paris. The French Language and Culture in Paris Program fee is 2,8500,00€ divided into two payments of 950,00€ and 2,000,00€. The down payment of 950,00€ is due one week after acceptance by the MICEFA and is non-refundable. Should you cancel before the cancellation deadline of April 1st you can be refunded the remaining 2000,00€. Any cancellation made after April 1st is completely non-refundable.

*Housing Supplement €400
Students applying after February 1st, 2023 must budget for this supplemental fee that covers a single room or homestay option through Atome*. Includes private room in a family home, access to kitchen. Meals with the family can be added for an extra fee. Please communicate to the Program Coordinator at the time of your application. *Please note that depending on the type of homestay option you chose (number of meals provided etc.) you may be billed more than this 400€ supplemental fee. Complete price details will be communicated before you must engage in this option.

French Culture & Civilization Reinforcement Supplemental Course €500
During the sessions, you can add an additional 2 credits of course to your program by adding this option. This course option, combined with the general French language option at the ILCF language institute will help you to rapidly progress in your autonomy in oral expression in French while discovering Paris!

Please note that you must have a valid passport for your complete time in Paris. You do not need a visa for the program.

Materials & Books €50
Students may need to buy a book for their courses, this course book is not as expensive as books in the U.S. and Canada. This price estimate includes notebooks and pens etc.

Meals €400
Kitchens are available at the Cité U and in a homestay. This estimate includes an estimation for a few meals in restaurants and the purchase of cooking utensils not provided by the Cité U.
